A two-storey residential building for ten people with disabilities has been erected in Erftstadt-Gymnich. Its residents pursue regular employment, the nature of which depends on their age and disability. The members of Evangelische Stiftung Hephata (Evangelical Foundation Hephata) support them in everyday tasks according to their needs.
The design of the building is deliberately straightforward and foregoes the use of decorative elements. Its minimalist approach, plain materials and clear layout improve the comprehensibility and concision of the structure and help residents find their bearings.
