Culture Park Alzenau

All parts of the building are immediately visible from the foyer. The glass atrium plays a central role: it opens up the gallery of the building and blends the city hall into the music school, whose lesson rooms are located inside the atrium. Free sight lines open up the building from the inside out and vice versa.

This public hybrid building will merge culture and education. It will function as a city hall, a venue for events and cultural installations, and a music school. A central foyer joins the various elements under one roof. The structure of the culture park continues the existing vertical contours of the area. Together, they form a sculptural building. Its topographic lines extend into the gallery of the event hall before gently sloping back into the existing building.
