Beines Area

We are proud to announce that we were successful in the competition for the Beines Area against seven architectural companies.

In a peripheral location of Mönchengladbach, about 1000 metres from the district of Rheydt, a former building used by the Beines textile factory is available for transformation into a residential quarter.

The location is just under one kilometre from the city centre and bordering on extensive green and open spaces, the 2.3 hectare site is being developed into a residential quarter with a high quality of life.
About 72 residential units are planned on the site; in the northern part single-family and double houses, in the southern part townhouses, which can be designed smaller or larger as necessary. Towards Bachstrasse, the designs include micro-apartments and apartments up to 75 m². The residential quarter will become car-free; for this reason an underground car park with access via Bachstraße and Botzkuhlenweg will be built. In additional, large open spaces with a high quality of stay are planned within the quarter. The area has everything that a family could wish for in a modern day.
