We are building the Dobersek Engineering Centre in the Nordpark area of Mönchengladbach. It consists of an office block with six to seven storeys (5400 square metres) and features an underground car park and an adjacent hall (2300 square meters); the latter contains a c anteen and a test workshop with storage facilities.
The training and conference centre constitutes the heart of the building concept. Its two bottom storeys are adjoined to the central atrium.
The seven-storey hall that houses the centre uses alternating lighting installations and clear sight lines to emphasise the open, communicative structure of the offices. It makes the office storey representative. Staggered green oases on each floor provide space to relax and mingle. Bridges connect the combination offices to the right and left of the atrium. The Dobersek Engineering Centre also features a daycare centre, a gym and a representative café bar.
